• •The original flocked swab: invented by Copan in 2003, FLOQSwabs^® introduced a thin absorbent Nylon^® fiber layer applied via a proprietary flocking process, replacing the spun-fiber design that traps the specimen
• •Superior specimen collection and release: no internal core to trap the specimen, allowing rapid absorption and elution of more than 90% of the collected specimen into transport media
• •More tests from one specimen: high elution efficiency makes multiple aliquots available from a single collection, supporting culture, Gram stain, rapid antigen, and molecular workflows from the same swab
• •Designed for many collection sites: regular, minitip, ultra-thin minitip, flexible, mini flexible, and contoured mid-turbinate formats with stoppers, in 30mm, 50mm, 80mm, and 100mm breakpoints
