The PhenoMATRIX AI® suite oers WASPLab® users automatic reading, interpretation, and sorting of bacterial cultures, transforming how microbiologists interact with their work. The system allows swift, efficient review and resulting of patient samples following technologist evaluation. 1, 6 

Streamline Culture Analysis and Reporting

PhenoMATRIX® software analyzes high-resolution culture images and sorts them based on criteria including colony count, chromogenic color changes, morphology, hemolysis patterns, and other laboratory-defined parameters. This significantly reduces sorting time by pre-organizing plates for faster technologist evaluation.

 

Laboratory technologists remain responsible for reviewing all images and, following laboratory protocols, can efficiently report grouped negative and positive results directly to the LIS with a simple click. 3, 4-6

PhenoMATRIX® and Colibrí™

Colibrí™ is a fully automated instrument that prepares colonies for MALDI ID and susceptibility testing. This instrument integrates perfectly with advanced PhenoMATRIX® with TAG configuration which analyzes the digital plate, automatically “tags” significant colonies for picking, and communicates the colony coordinates to the Colibri™ for reliable and accurate picking.
